Commitments and Initiatives

Our Responsibility

Aware of the environmental and societal challenges related to our activities, we have undertaken the “Engagé RSE” certification process, which reflects our deep conviction that we must contribute positively to the protection of our environment, our community and the well-being of our employees. We do not claim to be perfect, but we believe in the necessity of acting, even humbly, for a more sustainable future.

HVE Level 3 and CEC Certifications :

A Commitment to Sustainability

All of our vineyards have achieved the High Environmental Value level 3 certification and the Cognac Environmental Certification. These recognitions attest our efforts to cultivate sustainability at the heart of our business while preserving the biodiversity of our land.

Solar Energy :

a Step Towards a Cleaner Future

200kWh of green electricity are generated by photovoltaic panels installed on our production sites. We believe that every renewable energy source counts, even if it does not yet cover all of our energy needs.

Mobility Plan :

Everyone's Business

We have implemented several initiatives aimed at reducing the carbon footprint of our mouvements, particularly through the electrification of our company vehicle fleet, free access to charging stations for our employees, as well as support for carpooling.

Reuse of Process Water :

Every Drop Counts

Responsible water management is one of our main concerns. At our site in Pons, we have implemented advanced practices for reusing our production effluents, thereby reducing the amount of transport needed towards treatment centres. This initiative is a first step towards preserving local water resources.

Organic Certification :

Spirits with a Difference

All the spirits we offer, from cognac and brandy to whisky, can be produced from organic farming. In this case, every step of the creation process, including distillation, storage and blending, adheres to the organic certification environmental standards.

In addition to these non-exhaustive examples, there is a constant commitment to improving working conditions at Distillerie de la Tour by promoting the well-being and safety of our employees.

Towards More Sustainable Vine-Growing

At Distillerie de la Tour, adopting and sharing more responsible viticulture practices is a priority. This includes the use of cover crops, bio stimulants, the reuse of effluents and the preservation of biodiversity.

Our teams are constantly seeking best practices and innovative processes to improve working conditions, preserve our resources and enhance the profitability of our operations. We implement these techniques on our own vineyard, serving as an experimental field to evaluate their effectiveness and demonstrate their added value.

In collaboration with our partner winegrowers, we place great importance on sharing the feedback from our experimentations. This exchange of information is essential for building the vineyard of tomorrow.

Quality Approach

Since the beginning, we have placed efficiency, reliability and food safety at the heart of our quality approach. Distillerie de la Tour is equipped with two laboratories which are dedicated to controlling and analysing. From conception to shipment, each product undergoes analysis at every stage.
